One Movement. A Hundred Years.
A century of people rises toward the camera on the same escalator.
One Movement. A Hundred Years. is built around a simple cinematic rule: people move toward the camera on an escalator, decade after decade.
The machine changes. The clothes change. The city changes. The movement remains almost the same.
The strongest moments are not spectacular. They are small ruptures: a person looking directly into the camera, as if recognizing the device before the century itself understands what it has become.
method
The work is developed as a controlled historical image sequence, using gradual temporal changes rather than obvious spectacle.
