Yellow Drift

Yellow is easy to point at. It feels settled, immediate, shared. The work tests that confidence by asking what happens when yellow is gathered from many different image worlds.

Across thirty-two searches, the colour starts to move. One yellow leans toward flowers. Another toward food, plastic, gold, warning signs, cartoons, fabric, medicine, weather, interiors or the glow of a screen. The name stays simple. The image does not.

Yellow Drift looks at the distance between recognition and sameness. A colour can be understood at once and still refuse to appear in one fixed form.

The project turns that refusal into an image. It takes something that seems universal and lets small differences accumulate until the certainty begins to loosen.
